SaddleLite Arm

The SaddleLite Arm is perfect for my setup. Had a sub-one lb. 3D printed arm that is nowhere near as smooth as the SaddleLite. And I can live the the extra 1.5 lbs. for the easy of operation and maneuverability. Packs up nicely: the arm packs flat and the base is the size of a small fist.

Compact and lightweight as advertised. Fits in my pack and easy to secure to any tree. Highly recommend for beginners to experts for self-filming their hunts.

Light weight and packable, but…

I’ll start by saying this is exactly what I needed from a compact and weight savings standpoint… however, the arm itself seems to be on the weaker side when it comes to camera support. I run a Sony NX80 and the arm will not fully support this camera at full arm extension without drooping. I’ve tightened it as much as physically possible and it still slowly falls downward. Not really a heavy camera set up either so not sure what I can do to change this…

Revised Review

Super light and compact very easy to maneuver in the tree. If you are going to be filming with anything other than a phone I highly recommend getting the bear claw accessory. The base can come loose fairly easily when using a camera. Amazing customer service. I was having problems with stability and they sent me the bear claw accessory immediately. Another option is to switch out the strap for a ratchet strap. Cant get a better arm for saddle hunting.

This camera arm is very small and compact which is really nice! The faults is the actual mounting bracket to the tree can not set very well and doesn’t bite good unless making sure strap is towards the bottom, also the tighting mechanism after you level it can be hard to get snug. For the price of this arm I would like it to be more full proof
